The boys have left and Jonny is
finishing going to the loo, he hears the pill pot drop and turn round and
starts to walk towards where he think the noise is coming from
Jonny –

(Looking at the doors)
Sam –

(As Sam is trying to pick up
all the pills in a rush)
(Jonny sees a few pills on the
floor)
Jonny –

Sam –

Sam –

Jonny –

Jonny –
SAM
(The door breaks down)
(Sam is lying on the floor
passed out)
Cam – what have you fucking done jonny
NJO - I like that you leave the audience on the cliffhanger and think that there could be some really interesting messages and dialogue between Jonny and Sam. One thing will be to show the time passing - is this something that happens in the space of 5 minutes? Personally I think a longer period of time might be really effective, especially if the ending is dramatic and tense. How would you show time passing? Will Cam come in earlier? Will you have shots of Jonny on his phone? Change in lighting etc?
ReplyDeleteI think the next step for you will be to really work on your characterisation of Sam and Jonny. It is unclear from your script whether they are friends or not and the backstory is a little confusing in places. Make that really clear and publish character files for them both and then continue adapting your script.
